News: How Chadian Soldiers Rescued Boko Haram Captives

 
According to reports, 85 out of a 100 people kidnapped by terrorist sect, Boko Haram have been rescued by the Chadian army.
100 people were reportedly kidnapped on August 10 from Doron Baga in the Kukawa area of Borno, near the border with Chad.
The Associated Press reports that the captives were rescued on Friday in an operation against the sect.
The kidnappings had been reported by a member of a local vigilante, identified as Muhammed Gava, who said that about a 100 people, consisting of about 70 young men and 20 females, were abducted and taken aboard speed boats around the Lake Chad area.
Boko Haram is also responsible for the kidnapping of over 200 schoolgirls from Chibok who are yet to be rescued.
